Former WWE Tag Team Champion and Hall of Famer Sika Anoa'I Dies at 77

Sika Anoa'i, a WWE Hall of Famer and the father of current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, has died at the age of 77. WWE announced the news on Monday, June 26, 2024.

Anoa'i, who was born in Samoa, was a member of the legendary Anoa'i family, which has produced some of the biggest names in professional wrestling history. He made his WWE debut in 1980 and quickly formed a tag team with his brother Afa. The Wild Samoans, as they were known, became one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history, winning the Tag Team Championships three times.

Anoa'i also had a successful singles career, winning the Intercontinental Championship in 1984. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.

Anoa'i's death is a huge loss for the wrestling world. He was a true legend and will be remembered for his contributions to the sport.
